As congested and competitive as the rap landscape has become, Sonny Sword has found a way to carve his own space amongst the crowd. Known for his sharp wit and smooth monotone deliveries, Sonny bursted into Philadelphia's music scene in 2020. Since then, he's had a bevy of releases through solo and joint works.

His most notable contributions were on the collaborative EP "Day Trip". The lead single on the project went on to amass over 230K streams with Sonny asserting himself on the hook in a "hard-hitting and explosive" (ThatWeirdMusic) manner. The EP was accompanied with a trippy and vibrant short film, where he brings euphoria and utopian vibes to his segment titled Y.A.M.S. (You Are My Soulmate).
